I’m Sean—Uncle Frogface—and I design and deliver creative workshops in art, craft, drama, storytelling, music, and upcycled crafts. Every session is built from the ground up to be fully inclusive for all needs and abilities.
Whether you’re a school, care home, community group, or registered charity, my goal is simple: to spark confidence, connection, and joy through hands‑on creativity.
Creativity plays a vital role in care settings and for individuals with additional needs or cognitive decline because engaging in art, music, drama, and craft activities stimulates widespread neural networks, promoting neuroplasticity and helping to slow the progression of dementia-related cognitive impairment. In older adults, regular participation in creative workshops has been associated with improved memory recall, enhanced problem‑solving skills, and reduced feelings of isolation and depression—key factors in maintaining quality of life in residential and day‑care settings.
For people with additional needs, structured creative expression fosters emotional regulation, supports communication, and builds self‑esteem by providing non‑verbal channels for self‑expression and choice.
Research on expressive arts therapy shows that multi‑sensory, inclusive facilitation can significantly improve daily living skills and social inclusion for neurodiverse learners and those with developmental challenges.
By offering these workshops, I aim to harness the transformative power of creativity—rooted in both my own recovery journey and my SEND education background—to empower every participant to connect, grow, and thrive through making something uniquely their own.
